Vinyl full car wrap - Long Island

Considering doing a full car wrap if the price is right. Got a couple of quotes today for 2K and 2.5K. Anyone know any reputable places that would do a sedan for less than that? Target price range would be 1K to 1.5K.

Preferably Suffolk, Nassau, Queens.

The material alone is $500-$800. I think $1k is unreasonable, $3k is about the price most people pay, I would get it done for $2k. What happened to the plastidip idea?

The plastidip just didn't come out how I envisioned it.

I would do a dark gloss red vinyl.

^ i remember calling them before. the guy said they won't do a full vehicle wrap in a solid color because of the imperfections at edges, complex curves, etc. that's why they only do graphics since they hide all that.

needless to say, I won't be recommending them to anyone....

3M is a common misconception, its a top of the line material but there are materials out there that are just as good.

BTW, $300-$500 to wrap a roof is insane...I charge $220 or $260 for carbon fiber and that includes the VINYL that is a 10 year car wrapping cast quality..

I usually take about an hour to fully wrap a roof...
Check out the work at ENDLESSRPM on facebook.

True story, I wrapped a car before and it took around $850 worth of vinyl. I wouldn't take the 6-7 hours to wrap a car for $300. Its a HUGE pain and takes a lot of time and would never do it again..
